Three men have been charged with the murder of Dungannon man Eamonn Hughes. Three men have been remanded in custody charged with murdering a father-of-three walking home from his daughter's 18th birthday party at the weekend.
The 48-year-old father-of-three was stabbed on his way home from his daughter's 18th birthday party at the weekend. Eamonn Hughes, 48, was stabbed to death in Dungannon, County Tyrone.
The three men, two of whom are aged 22 and the other 24, will appear at Omagh Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Liam Murray, 21, of Windmill Court, Kevin Kinnear, 24, Windmill Drive, Kevin Toye, 22, Windmill Drive were all charged with murder and hijacking.
One of the men has also been charged with causing grievous bodily harm. A fourth man, aged 40, has been charged with attempted murder. Mr Toye was also charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm at the hearing at Omagh Magistrates Court.
He will appear at the same court. A fourth man, Kevin Murray, 39, from the Lisnahull area of Dungannon, was charged with attempted murder.
