Version 0 of 1.

A barn fire in Kent in which three horses and a pony died is being treated as suspicious.

More than 30 firefighters were called to Kittingdon Farm in Elvington just before 2000 GMT on Tuesday, but the trapped animals could not be rescued.

Det Sgt Sean Creed said the cause of the blaze was not known at present.

He wants to hear from anyone who knows someone who went out on Tuesday and returned smelling of smoke from a fire. A reward is being offered.

Police said the owner of the horses had offered the money for information leading to a conviction.

The amount of the reward has not been revealed.

There were no other injuries in the fire, which also affected a smaller building on the site.
