Bomb alert police under attack

Missiles and fireworks have been thrown at police during a security alert in north Belfast.

A suspicious device was discovered in Forthriver Drive in Ballygomartin on Thursday night.

As the army examined the object, the police came under attack from a group of youths.

The police worked with community representatives to end the trouble. The device was declared a deliberate and elaborate hoax.
