Man due in court on murder charge

A 23-year-old man is due to appear in court charged with the murder of a man in County Antrim.

The charge is related to the death of a 50-year-old man, named as Stanley John Andrews, whose body was discovered at a flat in Dunclug Gardens, Ballymena.

The police said Mr Andrews, who was from Ballymena, had sustained serious head injuries. He was found dead on Friday.

The accused will appear in court in Coleraine on Monday.
