Woman critical after house fire

A 73-year-old woman has been rescued from a fire at a house in Ballymoney, County Antrim.

Police said officers were called to the house in Rowan Road at about 2000 BST on Wednesday, but firefighters had already got her out of the building.

The woman has been taken to hospital. where her condition is described as critical.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
