Police are treating as sectarian an incident in Ballymena in which a 17-year-old boy was assaulted. A man is being questioned by police over a sectarian attack on a Catholic teenager in Ballymena.
The Catholic teenager was attacked by about four to six people in the Granville Drive area of the town shortly before 0400 GMT on Sunday. The 17-year-old youth suffered head and hand injuries when he was attacked by up to six people in Granville Drive at about 0400 GMT on Sunday.
He suffered injuries to his head and hands which are not thought to be life threatening. One man has been arrested. He suffered injuries to his head and hands.
