The lorry's back wheels sunk into Old Bath Road in Newbury, Berkshire, which appeared to have partially collapsed. Engineers said they did not know how deep the hole was but a crane was later used to remove the lorry. A crane was used to remove the lorry and engineers are investigating to find out what caused the hole to open up.
