A suspected suicide bomber has attacked the main police headquarters in the centre of Pakistan's capital Islamabad. At least eight people have been wounded in a suicide bomb attack on the main police headquarters in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, police have said.
Unconfirmed reports say several people were wounded by the blast at the Police Lines complex. One police official told AFP that eight people had been killed. Police said the attacker had managed to drive into the Police Lines complex before blowing himself up inside an office of the anti-terrorist squad.
A senior police officer said the bomber had managed to get inside the compound. One police official told the BBC that at least one person had been killed.
