Children's ward evacuated in fire

The blaze in the boiler house at Frimley Park Hospital, in Frimley, destroyed the unit and seriously damaged the roof of the building. All the children were evacuated safely to other parts of the hospital and no-one was injured. Six fire engines were sent to the scene after the fire broke out at 1718 BST, and it was extinguished in 90 minutes. |
