A man has been charged in connection with the death of a grandson of the Specials singer Neville Staple. Fidel Glasgow, 21, died in hospital after being stabbed in Coventry in the early hours of Saturday. Glasgow, who is the son of Staple’s daughter Melanie, was found behind Club M in Coventry city centre and rushed to hospital but could not be saved. Atikou Diallo, 23, was charged with violent disorder, grievous bodily harm and possession of cocaine and remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Birmingham magistrates court on Tuesday.
