On the cat's dedicated Instagram account, its owner shared a photo with the caption: "#mrmuk is safe home now!!!. #thankyou for all help, prayers and love you give to us during this insane time!" Izabela Mnich, 34, who runs Mr Muk's dedicated Instagram account, said she was "relieved" to be reunited with her nine-year-old cat.
She said she felt like her life had been stolen from her when Mr Muk went missing, and that although it was not as serious as a child being kidnapped, she felt "similar" emotions.
"He was so happy to see his favourite food," she added. "He's eaten a lot today."
