An investigation is taking place into the cause of a light plane crash in South Norfolk in which one man died and another was seriously injured. The man who died when a light plane crashed into a tractor in South Norfolk has been named by police.
The plane crashed into a crop spraying tractor at Seething Airfield, south of Norwich, on Wednesday afternoon. Ian Alexander Davies, 49, of Topcroft, in Norfolk, died on Wednesday afternoon when the plane crashed into a crop spraying tractor at Seething Airfield.
One man was confirmed dead after being found inside the plane while the other man, aged 52, remains in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital hospital. A 51-year-old man who was also in the plane is in a critical condition in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries.
The tractor driver, aged in his 60s, did not suffer serious injuries. The tractor driver, Andrew Hill aged in his 60s, was treated for shock.
It is thought the men in the plane were from the local area.
