Months of rallying, handshaking and sign-waving reached an apex as the 2018 midterm elections came to an end on Tuesday. Democrats took control of the House of Representatives, but Republicans appeared likely to expand their majority in the Senate. Democrats also won in several governors’ races, but Republicans held on in swing states like Florida and Ohio. Several races around the country remained too close to call. | |
