Cash machine stolen day after Lincolnshire Co-op opens
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-46139205 Version 0 of 1. A cash machine has been pulled out of a wall and stolen from a supermarket just a day after it opened. Debris spilled out on to the pavement and an abandoned digger was found nearby after the Co-op store in North Somercotes was targeted on Thursday. Police found "a large hole in the side of the shop" at about 00:55 GMT, adding the wall "suffered extensive damage". The Co-op said the store, which first opened its doors on Wednesday, would remain closed for repairs. The theft is one of a number of attacks on supermarket cash machines in Lincolnshire over the past few years. |
