Man found in town murdered: PSNI Murder victim had several wounds

A father-of-one found dead in Larne at the weekend was murdered, the police have confirmed. A father-of-one found dead in Larne on Sunday morning was murdered, the police have confirmed.

"We cannot comment on the exact number of stab wounds that he received, but it was a violent death," he said.
"We'd like to hear from anyone who can help police with this - we need the support from the community in Larne, we need their assistance in finding who did this and bringing them to justice
"I would like to hear from anyone who has any information about this attack, anyone who saw Kenneth in the Herbert Avenue area after 10pm, to contact police as soon as they can.
On Monday, police carried out house to house inquiries on Herbert Avenue where Mr Nicholl lived with his partner and young son.
In the alleyway behind the house forensic teams spent the day searching for clues.
So far no one has been arrested in connection with the murder.
