A woman has been seriously injured by a double-decker bus that crashed into a bus station in south London. A woman has been seriously injured and 16 others were hurt when a double-decker bus crashed at a south London bus station.
Police were called at about 12:20 GMT to reports of a bus crashing into street furniture in Station Road by West Croydon bus station. London Fire Brigade said the double-decker collided with a car, a single-decker bus, then crashed into a bus shelter by West Croydon bus station.
London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance were in attendance, police said, although the total number of casualties has not been confirmed. Police were called at about 12:20 GMT. Crews from London Ambulance and London Air Ambulance also attended.

A woman had been seriously hurt and was being treated at the scene, the Metropolitan Police force said. The woman who was seriously hurt was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, the Metropolitan Police said.
An LFB spokesman said the two people in the car were suffering from shock.
Of the 20 people onboard the bus, 17 were injured to "varying degrees" but all were conscious and breathing, the spokesman added.
