A spokesman for the European Research Group (ERG) has confirmed that Rees-Mogg will submit a letter of no confidence in May. It was widely reported that Rees-Mogg has told colleagues assembled within the ERG meeting that the decision had 'weighed very heavily' upon him.

Which would be a pivotal moment for those Tory MPs unhappy at the Brexit draft withdrawal agreement.  Adding: “A few weeks ago, in a conversation with the Chief Whip I expressed my concern that the Prime Minister, Mrs. Theresa May, was losing the confidence of Conservative Members of Parliament and that it would be in the interest of the Party and the country if she were to stand aside."
Earlier, the MP himself took to twitter to reiterate his threat, posting: "Time to write?" The draft Brexit withdrawal deal she has finalized has "turned out to be worse than anticipated and fails to meet the promises given to the nation by the Prime Minister."
Rees-Mogg's letter is a pivotal moment for those Tory MPs unhappy at the Brexit draft withdrawal agreement.
