A woman who sparked a police appeal after she was seen naked and tied up near a Hampshire railway station has admitted the incident was a "prank". Hampshire police issued the appeal on Sunday after a couple driving past Micheldever station saw a naked woman and a man in camouflage next to her. But on Monday evening a woman and two male companions presented themselves at Reading police station. They said the incident was a prank and all police inquiries have now ceased. Det Sgt Chris Buse said: "We would like to thank the media for their support in this matter. "We have now been able to establish that all three people involved are safe and well." |
