"We are attempting internal firefighting to stop fire spreading down into the first floor and ground floor," Gary Rich from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said. Richard Cadman lives in one of the properties on the site and said he was full of praise for the firefighters and neighbours who offered to help him and his three children shelter during the fire.
"I can't put into words how mad it is - one lightning strike is in the millions but two is just unreal. It just does not happen. It's just devastating for the landlords."
