A rapist serving a life sentence has escaped from an open prison. | |
Police warned members of the public not to approach Wayne Jones, who is an inmate at HMP North Sea Camp near Boston in Lincolnshire. The 39-year-old absconded from the category D open prison on Sunday evening. | |
Lincolnshire police said Jones was 1.7m tall (5ft 7ins), of small build, with brown hair and brown eyes. He had a scar under his left eye and a tattoo on his left wrist. | |
“If you see him, do not approach him but call Lincolnshire police on 999, quoting incident 367 of 25 November,” the force said. | |
