Further to your video (Owen Jones meets Keir Starmer: ‘Brexit fatigue is real – but we can’t let this deal pass’, 30 November), could I suggest “Brexhaustion” as a useful term that captures our fatigue with respect to the Brexit debates? • The 1973/74 “winter of discontent” brought the three-day week and power cuts. At the time, I worked for a council in Essex where the women were allowed to wear trousers (Letters, 1 December), the only heating being unreliable (and smelly) paraffin heaters.
