Northern Constabulary said that members of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team reached the man but discovered that he had died at the scene. Neil Batchelor, 26, from Inverness, had been climbing at Alladins Couloir, when he fell.
A spokesman said that details of the deceased would not be released until next of kin had been informed. He had been climbing at Alladins Couloir. Northern Constabulary said that members of the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team reached him but discovered that he had died at the scene.
