A 14-year-old boy who was involved in a crash on his moped has been stabbed to death in an east London street. A 14-year-old boy has been stabbed to death by attackers who knocked him off his moped, the Met said.
Police were initially called to reports of a crash in Bickley Road, Waltham Forest, at about 18:30 GMT. The wounded teenager was found in Bickley Road, Waltham Forest, at 18:30 GMT on Monday.
Once there, they found the stabbed boy who was declared dead at the scene despite attempts to revive him. Detectives believe his moped had been involved in a crash with a car, after which three men got out the vehicle, stabbed the victim and drove off.

A cordon is in place and inquiries continue, the force said.

Residents who live on Bickley Road told the Press Association they had not heard any shouting or screaming.
They said it was not until they saw the blue flashing lights from the emergency services that they knew something had happened.
