The 25-year-old son of Roxy Music singer Bryan Ferry has been charged with robbery, assault and perverting the course of justice. Mr Ferry, from Easton Mascot, who has been on remand, appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Tuesday. He was charged after an incident which was alleged to have taken place while Mr Ferry was with the Heythrop Hunt. The hunt covers Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. Mr Ferry will next appear at the court on 3 December for a plea hearing and was due to stand trial on 9 March 2009. Ferry's barrister Guy Gozem told the court he would not proceed with a scheduled bail application, but did not give a reason. Judge Martin Picton told Mr Ferry, who has been on remand in HMP Gloucester for eight weeks, he would remain remanded in custody. |
