'Space hop' for Children in Need

It took Kelly Summers, Hayley Fry and Lisa Jones just under two hours to bounce their way to the Commercial Group offices in Cheltenham. The three picked up a further 10 colleagues on the way and raised more than £1,000 for the BBC-run charity. They said getting to the office on the inflatable toys was hard work, but the support along the way was "brilliant". "We managed it, three-and-a-half miles," said Ms Summers as the group arrived. "It's been hard work, but it was a brilliant atmosphere. "We'll be dozing at our desks by lunchtime, but now we're all ready for a shower." Ms Fry added: "A friend of mine dared me to do it. "I said, I'll take that challenge, I didn't think I'd do it, but I did. People were cheering us along." |
