Rod Stewart to lead prince's 60th Stars turn out for prince's 60th

Rod Stewart is to headline a 60th birthday party for the Prince of Wales. Prince Charles has continued his 60th birthday celebrations with a star-studded dinner.
Comics Sanjeev Bhaskar and Meera Syal - better known as the Kumars At No 42 - are also set to provide entertainment at the prince's Gloucestershire home. Celebrities including Stephen Fry and comedians Sanjeev Bhaskar and Meera Syal were among those at the party at the prince's Gloucestershire home.
Princes William and Harry are expected to be in the audience along with the prince's friends Stephen Fry, Prunella Scales and author Jilly Cooper. Rod Stewart performed for guests, including Princes William and Harry, at the event, which was organised by the Duchess of Cornwall.

Mr Stewart and his wife, Penny Lancaster, arrived early for a 20-minute sound-check ahead of his after-dinner performance before Ms Lancaster returned alone two hours later.
The musician, whose famous hits include Do Ya Think I'm Sexy and Sailing, is an ambassador for Prince Charles's youth charity the Prince's Trust.

Rowan Atkinson and his wife were among the first to arrive, turning up in a Rolls-Royce.
Mr Bhaskar and his wife, Ms Syal - who both acted in the Kumars At No 42, arrived in a Peugeot.
They were believed to also be providing entertainment as the prince is said to be a fan of the talk show.
Chat-show host and gardener Alan Titchmarsh was also among the guests along with Sir David Frost, Sir Winston Churchhill's grandson Nicholas Soames MP and actresses Dame Judi Dench and Joanna Lumley.
The duchess's former husband, Brig Andrew Parker Bowles, was also invited.
Princes William and Harry were thought to have stayed overnight at Highgrove.

Late arrivals included Lord and Lady Rothschild, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and society-girl Tara Palmer-Tompkinson.
The menu for the evening was expected to mainly consist of food from the prince's own Duchy range, along with food produced locally.
On Friday the prince visited several projects for children in inner-city areas backed by the Prince's Trust, before a family dinner at home.
It had been reported that the duchess presented the prince with 60 birthday presents, but when he attended a concert for young children in London he joked the event had been a "consolation" prize for him.
He said: "I'd been led to expect at least 60 presents from my darling wife on this occasion, but unfortunately I seem to have only ended up with one."
