The family of a 63-year-old woman who was found dead at her home in Fife have paid tribute to her.

Ann Gray was discovered at the property in Crosshill near Lochgelly at about 2130 GMT on Friday.

Her family said she was a "much-loved" grandmother of 12 and would be "sadly missed".

A 16-year-old girl has been charged in connection with the death and is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday.

The family statement said: "Mum was much loved by her family and friends, but especially by her 12 grandchildren who adored her.

"She was very kind-hearted and would do anything she could to help anyone.

"She was very well known in the community and will be sadly missed by all who knew her."
