Nigel Edwards Farmer, 33, of no fixed address, and Danno Sonnex, 23, from Peckham, south London, denied murder, arson and trying to pervert justice. They entered their pleas by video link from prison at the Old Bailey. They were remanded in custody by an Old Bailey court until 21 April next year.

They are alleged to have stolen a bank card, a credit card, games consoles and mobile phones.
The badly-burned bodies of the two students were found after an explosion at the bedsit.
Mr Bonomo had been stabbed nearly 200 times, while Mr Ferez had nearly 50 knife wounds.
