Firefighters are continuing to tackle a fire which broke out at a former psychiatric unit. Firefighters have contained a fire which broke out at a former psychiatric unit.

It is believed the fire is in the area of the great hall of the hospital, which has grade II listed buildings. The fire has destroyed the main hall in the hospital, which has grade II listed buildings. The roof has also been destroyed.
Around 50 firefighters and eight appliances and crews remain at the scene after they were called to deal with the blaze. An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched by North Wales Police and the fire service.
