Tram services have resumed on Sunday and train services are not affected as there is no Sunday service on the Robin Hood Line. Insp Alan Radford of British Transport Police said an investigation was under way.
"We have spoken to one or two people. Certainly one person in the close vicinity said that there didn't seem to be anything untoward going on at the time, he said.
"But we are still investigating and have other leads to follow up at the moment."
