Two men posing as NIE workers have stolen money from an 86-year-old man in County Armagh.

The theft took place at the elderly man's home on the Brownstown Road in Portadown on Friday evening.

One man distracted the pensioner as the other entered the house. After they left, some money was missing.

One was described as being 5ft 4ins tall with a plump face and dark hair. The other was slightly taller and wearing a light-coloured top and jeans.

The police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
