Det Supt Tony Cook, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "Jessie James' murder has touched the lives of many people living in Moss Side. The community have been outraged that a young life has been taken in such a callous way.
"We know there are still people who have information that could help us to catch the people responsible for this murder and I would appeal to them to come forward.
"As the investigation goes on we have been able to build a more comprehensive picture of the circumstances surrounding this incident but we still need a few vital pieces of information to help us to catch Jessie's killer."
