Man dies after van and bus crash

A van driver has died after his vehicle was in a crash with a bus, Central Scotland Police have confirmed.

The accident happened when his Citroen van crossed into the path of the bus on the A904 close to Bo'ness, Falkirk.

The 37-year-old male van driver died at the scene of the incident, which happened at about 0130 GMT on Saturday.

The 31-year-old male bus driver received minor injuries and was treated at Stirling Royal Infirmary. Two passengers on the bus were uninjured.

The police said the road was closed for five hours.
