About a quarter of the cabinet are women
Eight out of the 31 positions in Mr Johnson's cabinet - including those who are not full members - have gone to women.
But under Theresa May the percentage of women attending cabinet was higher.
Most of Mr Johnson's new cabinet have had some experience of being a cabinet minister.
Both Julian Smith, Northern Ireland Secretary and Grant Shapps, Transport Secretary previously had roles where they attended cabinet but were not full members.
Mr Johnson has many cabinet members who originally voted to remain in the EU in the 2016 referendum.
But leading Brexiteers Priti Patel and Dominic Raab have been rewarded with the posts of Home Secretary and Foreign Secretary respectively.
