Murder probe after stabbing death

Police have started a murder inquiry after a man died from stab wounds in Leicester.

The 19-year-old man was found unconscious on Fosse Road South in the early hours.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary but died later.

A 46-year-old man and two girls aged 17 and 14, have been arrested in connection with the incident and are in police custody.

Officers were carrying out forensic investigations at the scene on Thursday.
