Thomas Tilleard, 15, Robert Lynn, 16, Craig James, 17, and James McLuskey, 21, were killed in the crash in Killinghall Road, Laisterdyke. They were travelling in a stolen Subaru car which was being pursued by police before it crashed into a chip shop in the early hours of Thursday. West Yorkshire Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward. Killinghall Fisheries was badly damaged in the crash. The incident was referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), which has since said the matter could be investigated by local police. According to the IPCC, a police car with blue lights flashing, pursued the Subaru for less than a minute, during which the stolen car was travelling at "high speed". It said the police vehicle was some distance behind, but officers remained in sight of the target car all the time. Advertisement Scene of Bradford fatal crash |
