Four injured in traffic accidents Teenager dies in road accident

Four people have been injured in separate traffic accidents in counties Antrim and Londonderry. A 17-year-old boy has died in a road accident in County Londonderry.
A 39-year-old woman was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car on the Belmont Road in Antrim. The accident, between a lorry and a car, happened on the Boleran Road, near Garvagh, at 1800 GMT on Wednesday.
The police have described her condition as serious.The female driver of the car was taken to hospital suffering from shock. A female was taken to hospital but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
The Boleran Road between Garvagh and Ringsend is also closed after three people were injured in a road accident. In a separate accident in Antrim a 39-year-old female pedestrian was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car on the Belmont Road in the town.
At least one car and a lorry were involved in the crash. The police have described her condition as serious. The female driver of the car was taken to hospital suffering from shock.
Police in Coleraine have asked anyone who witnessed the accident on the Boleran Road between a blue Iveco lorry and a white Vauxhall Zafira to contact them.
A total of 104 people have now died on Northern Ireland's roads in 2008.
