Boy named in police death probe

A three-year-old boy whose death is being investigated by police in Wolverhampton has been named.

Ryan John James Lovell-Hancox died in hospital on Christmas Eve, West Midlands Police said.

Police released a photo of Ryan and asked to hear from anyone who has seen him during the past three weeks.

Kayley Boleyn, 18, and Christopher Taylor, 23, of Bradley, Bilston, have been charged with causing or allowing his death.

The couple, from Slim Avenue, were remanded in custody at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Friday and will appear before the city's crown court on 5 January.
