The vehicle was stopped by officers in Gorebridge at about 1600 GMT, a Lothian and Borders Police force spokewoman said.

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the discovery of the drugs, believed to be cocaine.

They were expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
