In an unrelated attack a man in his 30s was found dead near Scratchwood Park in Barnet at 20:27. Another victim, in his 20s, also sustained stab wounds. In an unrelated incident, a man in his 30s died after being attacked and was found dead in a car near Scratchwood Park in Barnet at around 20:30.
An arrest has been made in connection with the earlier stabbing but police have not given any further details. Another man in his 20s suffered stab wounds in the same incident and was taken to hospital.
The Metropolitan Police said a man in his 20s who was also found injured in Walthamstow had been taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. An arrest has been made in connection with the Walthamstow stabbing, police said.
Referring to the later stabbing, Scotland Yard said officers were called at 20:27 to Barnet Bypass by the London Ambulance Service to reports of a man in his 20s with stab injuries, who was then taken to hospital. The Met added that a man in his 20s who was also found injured in Bromley Road, was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police searched a nearby car where they found a man in his 30s who was treated at the scene but died a short time later. It is the third killing in London in as many days after Albert Amofa, 33, died in hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
