Guards stabbed during dispute at Howard County, Md.,hospital, police say
Version 0 of 1. Two security guards at the Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Md., were stabbed Friday night during a disturbance in the emergency room, the county police said. A man entered the emergency room around 9 p.m. and cut the two guards with a pocket knife during a dispute, police said. One guard suffered a minor cut to the hand, and the other was being treated at the hospital for a stab wound that was not considered life-threatening, police said. They said a man was taken into custody in the incident.
