Fifty firefighters tackle blaze Major fire closes commuter route

About 50 firefighters are tackling a fire which has closed a main road in East Yorkshire. More than 60 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a commercial property which has led to the closure of a key commuter route in East Yorkshire.
It is believed no one was injured in the fire at a printing works near Beverley. The premises of building contractors Teckno Developments in Bishop Burton, near Beverley, were well alight when fire crews arrived just after 0230 GMT.
The A1079 Hull to York road is closed at the Walkington roundabout in both directions. Some nearby properties have been evacuated and fire officers said the building was near to collapse.

The route is closed in both directions between the Killingwoldgraves roundabout and Bishop Burton.
Police are diverting traffic through Cherry Burton via Dog Kennel Lane.
Dave Fisher, from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, said: "We have got the fire under control now, but it is a serious fire and we will be here for most of the day I suspect.
"We've not been right through the building as yet due to the partial collapse of the building, but we have no reports of anybody being trapped."
