A man was struck by a vehicle and killed Sunday night on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Prince George’s County, authorities said. | |
The pedestrian was struck about 10:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the parkway near Landover Road and died at the scene, said Michael Yourishin, a spokesman for the county fire and rescue service. | |
After the man was struck, the driver that hit him remained on the scene, said Sgt. Eduardo Delgado, a spokesman for the U.S. Park Police. | |
