The victim was later identified as Bryan Tate Jr. of Southeast Washington. Police said the shooting happened around 1:16 p.m. when they were asked to check on a person’s welfare. When officers arrived, they found Tate inside a home. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. | |
