The dog theft happened around 12:50 p.m. Saturday when the owner let her dog “out into her fenced-in yard” of her home in the 1100 block of Abbey Place near 4th Street NE, in the NoMa area, according to police. The victim told police that when she went back and “checked on her dog,” it was missing from her yard. Police said they believe someone took the dog and fled. The canine theft happened Saturday at about 12:50 p.m. when the owner let her tan-and-white dog “out into her fenced-in yard” of her home in the 1100 block of Abbey Place near Fourth Street NE, in the NoMa area, according to police.
Lady is tan and white in color. The owner told police that when she went back and “checked on her dog,” it was missing from her yard. Police said they believe someone took the dog and fled. According to a police report, the owner told police that “the dog never leaves the yard.”
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and indictment of whoever may be involved.
