"Shameless" actress Tina Malone is the latest contestant to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house Ex-Sugababe Mutya Buena has walked out of the Celebrity Big Brother house just hours after Tina Malone was evicted.
The 46-year-old, who plays Mimi Maguire in the Channel 4 drama, screamed "Yes!" when her name was announced. Mother-of-one Buena, 23, left after saying she did not want to spend another day away from her family.
The outspoken Liverpudlian, the bookmakers' favourite for eviction - received 39% of the total votes cast. She had been nominated for eviction, along with outspoken Liverpudlian Malone and had threatened to go anyway if she were not picked.
Afterwards Malone told presenter Davina McCall the experience had been "cathartic" and she had been brought in to play the role of the "fat bird". But the "Shameless" actress was ousted by the public after receiving 39% of the vote.
'Relieved' Family reasons
She was up for nomination in the public vote along with TV personality Ulrika Jonsson and pop stars Mutya Buena and Michelle Heaton. The pair, along with TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson and former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton, had faced the chop.
Before leaving, she hugged Jonsson and said: "Oh, I'm so glad; I told you I was going to go - I'm made up." But when they found out Malone was leaving, Buena said: "No way am I staying a day longer, I've already told them I don't care what I lose.
"If they want to fight me they can. I'm not unpacking my suitcase and that's it. I'm going."
Afterwards she went to the Diary Room and said she had been thinking about leaving for several days.
Buena, who has a three-year-old daughter Tahlia-Maya, left at 2338 GMT on Friday.

Adams said: "Unless you shout above Tina you never really get your point across. There is no room for anybody else's opinion. She comes across as a bit aggressive."
Malone had predicted she was going to leave after the group failed a task because her ballet performance with broadcaster Terry Christian did not receive enough hits on the programme's website.

In the latest feud, Coolio went toe to toe with Jonsson and Malone over the group's shopping list.
After failing their tasks, they were given a basic shopping budget of just £1 per person per day and disagreements arose over how best to spend it.
Coolio refused to let the female contestants read out their shopping list to Big Brother, and sparked a furious row by telling Malone to "shut up".
Malone responded with a foul-mouthed tirade, telling the 45-year-old rapper that: "No man is ever gonna tell me to shush".
Coolio answered: "Well, I just did."
However during her exit interview Malone said she saw through Coolio's posturing.
She said: " I got the facade and the bravado. I understood where he was coming from."
