Murder inquiry after city death

A murder investigation has been launched by gardai following the discovery of a man's body in north Dublin.

The body of Peter Gunn was found at Dunsoghly Lane in The Ward on Thursday night.

A post-mortem on Friday established the victim had been stabbed to death.

Mr Gunn was last seen in the Summerhill area of Dublin on 4 January. Gardai have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
