Drink death girl trial abandoned
http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/scotland/north_east/7844531.stm Version 0 of 1. The trial of two women accused of allowing three teenage girls - one who later died - to drink unsupervised has been abandoned for the time being. It followed the resignation of defence advocate David Moggach - representing one of the accused Amanda Williamson - for legal reasons. Ms Williamson, 36, and Christine Stewart, 49, deny charges after Naomi Thomson, 14, died in Fraserburgh. The trial is expected to re-start with a new jury before the end of April. The trial was in its fourth day at Peterhead Sheriff Court. Naomi died at a house in Marconi Terrace in November 2006. |
