Motorcyclist, 35, dies after crash on London road

A 35-year-old motorcyclist has died after being in collision with a car in east London.

Police were called to Pembury Road in Hackney at about 08:30 BST on Friday.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to a central London hospital, but died later.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries. Detectives have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.
