Hogan spokesman Mike Ricci said in an email Thursday night that, “Delegate Miller, among others, asked the governor to lay out a reasonable timeline for the beginning of the recovery phase, and [Hogan] said we hope to be in a position to begin the recovery in early May.”
“This, of course, depends in part on Marylanders continuing to practice physical distancing,” Ricci added. “So my hope is that, as frustrated as they are, these officials will help us ensure that any demonstrations are conducted safely and without endangering the lives of others.”
